Official Major League Baseball signed by hall of fame New York Yankees catcher, Yogi Berra.

Yogi was recently honored as one of the catchers elected to the All Century Team (Johnny Bench is the other catcher on the roster).

He was a fifteen-time All-Star, a three-time MVP and a member of 10 World Series
champion teams.

He also holds numerous World Series records including games by a catcher (63), hits (71),
and times on the winning team (10).

Berra led AL catchers in putouts eight times, assists and fielding three times each,
and handled the Yankee pitching staff masterfully. Although he never led the league in home runs or RBIs, Berra, a notorious bad-ball hitter, was a constant threat offensively, particularly with men on base.

Yogi might be most remembered for his famous sayings known as "Yogi-isms."
Some of his well known quotes include:
"It ain't over 'til it's over,"
"It's deja vu all over again,"
"When you come to a fork in the road....Take it."
and "I didn't really say everything I said."
