Spahn's illustrious big career spanned 21 seasons. He is the winningest lefthander in major league history, emerging victorious in 363 games. He won 20 games or more in thirteen seasons, and had an impressive lifetime ERA of 3.09. Spahn also holds the distintion of being the career home run leader for pitchers in the National League with 35 round trippers (Wes Ferrell holds the AL mark with 36 HR's).
